The $10000 version is only the power electronics, control electronics, and
three struts - it's not a complete motion system. You need to build a base
and cockpit yourself; this is recommended only for experts!
The least expensive complete motion system starts around $23000 in Europe
(with a 220v adapter - I'm presuming you're in France). A system that's
ready to go (plug into your game computer) with a 50" DLP projector and high
quality FFB controls is about $27000; I believe that comes in around 19000
Euros.
> Do you export it outside us ?

Yes. At the moment we're exporting direct; in the next few months we'll
likely have distributors in Europe and some in South America. So then the
price will be a little higher but it'll be more convenient.
1. What are noise/ heat outputs and power requirments (240v?) of the unit?
As far as noise goes, the machine has a few fans that cool the electronics cabinet - along the order of a couple of well-cooled PCs - and the ball screw struts 'sing' a bit when they're running quickly. Aside from that it's silent.
2. Is the 301 pneumatic or hydraulic based?
No. It's all servo based - very fast, very precise, and no leaks.
3. How do the projectors cope with the vibration? (Considering the price of the globes)
So far we haven't had any problems, and theoretically the bulbs shouldn't be affected much by vibration as they're not filament-based. However, given that we haven't manufactured them, we can't guarantee them.
4. Pricing for various options? (2 vs 3 axis, screen/control options)
We currently don't have a 2-axis option.
$10k will get you, basically, a set of struts, power drivers, servo controllers, and control software. You'd have to fabricate everything else, which is no small task, particularly given the power of our actuators.
$15k, or so, will get you the same plus the strut base and enclosure - everything from the top of the struts down, but no chassis.
$19k will get you the whole system minus projector and controls.
$24k will get you the whole system with projector and controls.
Please note that these are domestic prices in US dollars.
5. Have you deployed any of these units in Australia, that I could inspect/visit?
6. If not, do you have anymore photos/videos of the 301?
No; if you'd like to you're welcome to fly out and try it (it might sound ridiculous but we have a few people coming that far!).
As far as photos and video, we're planning on putting more up. If there's anything specific you'd like to see (in terms of car/track combos, kinds of photos) then let me know and I may be able to put something together for you.
9. What safety mechanisms are included in the design? (From a commerical operator/insurance point of view)
The machine ships with a 5-point harness; from inside it's designed so that the driver can't reach any dangerous areas once belted in. Externally, we recommend either that the machine be fenced off or that e-stop safety matting is included; we can quote safety mats or light curtains if you wish.
In case of power loss, the machine has full motor brakes and will pause where it is; the brakes can be pulse-released manually to drop the machine back down.
All motors, power amplifiers and servo controllers are UL/CE listed.
10. What OS does the software logic components run on and is a separate host required to run the software?
All that's required to run the machine is an ethernet network and a computer running the game. Setup is done from the game computer; otherwise the machine is independant and acts like a peripheral.
11. Are the steering/pedals controls proprietry? If so what support does it have? (I assume force feedback and directx etc)
12. What shifter options are available? (Paddle only?)
We can quote you various options for steering, from a standard Driving Force Pro wheel up to industrial force feedback Happ arcade controls. The same goes for shifters. If you're interested in a particular kind of shifter that isn't available, we can custom build.
