Question in ENGLISH about gearbox ?!

Hi to all!

Sorry, I am writting in english, but I am not from France and dont speak french. ..

I will buy S16 by the end of the year and I know that gearbox is a weak spot of this car. (long shifter, not running smoothly, specialy first and second gear....) The questions is, can this be fixed? Can I change the gearbox from any other car, can this gearbox be tuned up with some better parts ?

How is about the rear bridge? Torsion and suspension? Is this problem about this car? I heard some bad rumours about it, should I be worried or not?

Pour diminuer la course du levier, tu peux installer un quickshift. lien Beaucoup de sujets en parlent, c'est pas très cher.

Pour le train arrière, bien vérifier la bonne hauteur de caisse avant achat, la présence de bruits parasites etc.
